What clinical work at HealifyNow actually looks like
We've built the practice we wanted to work in. Clean charts, fair pay, real autonomy, no panel pressure, no insurance billing.
HealifyNow is a telehealth practice covering weight loss (GLP-1 medications), longevity medicine, hormone optimization (HRT, TRT, perimenopause, PCOS), lab interpretation, and ancillary care across all 50 states. Our clinical volume is growing fast, our patient base is engaged and motivated, and our infrastructure was built by clinicians who understand what wastes time and what doesn't.
What you'd actually be doing day-to-day: structured 20-45 minute video visits with patients, in which you do real clinical work — history, evaluation, medication decisions, lab interpretation. No insurance prior auths to chase. No 50-message MyChart inboxes piling up unaddressed. No coding nightmares. Our EHR is a single screen with the patient's whole picture and your charting takes 5 minutes per visit, not 25.
Compensation is per-completed-visit, with bonuses tied to clinical quality and patient outcomes (not utilization or visit volume — those incentives produce bad medicine). Full-time clinicians typically earn $200K-$350K depending on subspecialty and load. Part-time and weekend coverage is also available. You set your own hours; we book within your stated availability.
You retain your own license, your own DEA, your own malpractice (we contribute), and full autonomy over clinical decisions. We're a practice, not a directive — we hire clinicians we trust and stay out of their clinical judgment. We do provide structured protocols, peer review, and a thoughtful clinical leadership team that supports rather than micromanages.

Credentialing & onboarding

What we look for
We hire for clinical quality, communication, and genuine respect for patients. Telehealth experience is helpful but not required.
MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs
Active unrestricted license in at least one state. Multi-state licensure is a plus. Board certification preferred in most subspecialties.
Mental health clinicians
Licensed psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs, and psychiatric NPs/MDs for ESA and PSD evaluations, anxiety care, and integrated work.
Subspecialty interest
Strong fit if you have interest or training in: weight management, endocrinology, longevity medicine, dermatology, women's health, or sexual health.
Communication-first practice
You believe medicine is mostly conversation, that informed consent is a real ongoing process, and that patients deserve being treated like intelligent adults.

What states do you need clinicians in?

All 50 states have demand. We particularly need multi-state licensed clinicians and clinicians licensed in Texas, Florida, New York, California, Pennsylvania, and the Midwest.
Do I need telehealth experience?

No. We onboard clinicians from in-person practice routinely. The transition is straightforward, and our platform is designed to be usable on day one.
Is this 1099 or W-2?

1099 independent contractor for most clinicians, which fits the autonomy-first model. We can discuss W-2 for clinicians who specifically need it. Either way, we contribute to malpractice and provide HIPAA-compliant infrastructure.
What's the minimum time commitment?

We're flexible. Some clinicians work 5 hours per week (typically supplementing another role); some work full-time. The minimum is enough to do good clinical work for our patients — generally at least 8 hours per week.
How does compensation compare to my current role?

For most clinicians moving from employed primary care or specialty practice, the hourly rate is meaningfully higher than W-2 employment after benefits — particularly because charting time is short and visit work is focused. We're happy to discuss specifics during the interview.
What about credentialing complexity?

We handle state licensure renewals, DEA renewals, malpractice paperwork, and platform credentialing. You focus on patients.
Can I keep my existing practice and add HealifyNow?

Yes — many of our clinicians have a primary practice and add HealifyNow part-time. We're flexible about non-compete (we don't impose unreasonable ones) and schedule.
How do you handle complex or escalating patients?

We have a clear escalation framework — peer consultation channels, clinical leadership available for case-specific questions, and a referral protocol for cases that need specialty in-person care. You're never alone with a difficult case.
