The lab panel your annual physical should have been
Most annual physicals run 10-15 markers and call it done. The full HealifyNow panel covers 50+ biomarkers — the ones that actually matter for catching problems early — and includes a clinician walkthrough of what each result means for you.
What's actually in the panel
We tell you exactly what you're paying for. No hidden tiers, no surprise add-ons.
The HealifyNow full lab panel was designed by clinicians who actually use the results. We started with what's standard at world-class preventive practices and trimmed only the markers that genuinely add nothing to clinical decisions. The panel runs around 50 individual biomarkers, organized across these categories:
Complete blood count and basic chemistry. CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel (sodium, potassium, chloride, CO2, BUN, creatinine, glucose, calcium, total protein, albumin, AST, ALT, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin). These catch infections, anemias, kidney and liver issues, and electrolyte problems.
Advanced lipid panel. Standard lipids (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides) plus ApoB (the actual atherogenic particle count, far more predictive than LDL-C), Lp(a) (a genetic cardiovascular risk factor every adult should test once), and LDL particle size where indicated.
Metabolic and insulin resistance markers. Fasting glucose, fasting insulin, HbA1c, HOMA-IR (calculated), GGT (a sensitive marker of fatty liver and oxidative stress). This combination catches metabolic dysfunction 5-10 years before a standard panel would.
Inflammation. High-sensitivity CRP (cardiovascular and systemic inflammation marker), fibrinogen, homocysteine. Chronic low-grade inflammation drives most age-related disease; measuring it changes care.
Thyroid (full panel). TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, anti-TPO, anti-thyroglobulin antibodies. Real thyroid evaluation, not just the TSH most physicals run.
Hormones. For men: total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, DHEA-S, PSA. For women: estradiol, progesterone (if cycling), FSH, LH, DHEA-S, SHBG, testosterone, prolactin.
Iron and nutritional status. Ferritin, iron, TIBC, transferrin saturation, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate.
Kidney function detail. eGFR, cystatin C (a more sensitive kidney marker than creatinine alone), urine ACR if indicated.
Who should run a full panel
Adults 35+
After 35, hidden metabolic and hormonal shifts become common. The panel is where they show up first.
Active people optimizing
You can't train, eat, or sleep your way out of problems you can't see. Real data is the unlock.
Stuck on symptoms
Fatigue, brain fog, low libido, weight that won't move — most have lab signatures we can find.
Starting longevity care
Required first step. No real protocol begins without comprehensive baseline data.
How HealifyNow makes it simple
From your first message to your medication arriving at your door — clinician-guided, every step.
Schedule your free visit
A care team member meets with you to understand your goals, medical history, and treatment preferences. The first visit is no-cost and no-commitment — we want you to be confident before moving forward.
Meet your licensed clinician
Connect by secure video or phone with a U.S.-licensed physician or nurse practitioner who reviews your full picture — labs, prior treatments, current medications, and lifestyle — and decides what is clinically appropriate.
Receive your prescription if appropriate
If your clinician determines treatment is right for you, they issue a prescription that goes to a licensed U.S. pharmacy. We coordinate discreet shipping, or you can fill it locally. Follow-up visits are built in.
Why most physicals miss things
A standard annual physical typically includes a CBC, a basic metabolic panel, a standard lipid panel, and (sometimes) TSH. That's about 18 markers. Most of them are pre-tuned to catch acute disease, not the slow-rolling metabolic and hormonal shifts that drive long-term health.
Consider three specific examples that the standard panel misses or downplays:
Fasting insulin. Not on the standard panel. Fasting glucose stays normal for 5-10 years while fasting insulin slowly climbs. By the time glucose is high enough to flag, you've spent a decade hyperinsulinemic with all the downstream consequences. Catch it earlier.
ApoB and Lp(a). Standard LDL is a reasonable proxy for cardiovascular risk most of the time. ApoB is more accurate (it counts the actual atherogenic particles). Lp(a) is genetic, doesn't change much through life, and you should know yours once. About 20% of the population has elevated Lp(a) and most don't know it.
Full thyroid panel. TSH is reasonable as a screening test for overt thyroid disease. It misses subclinical issues, conversion problems (T4 not converting properly to T3), and autoimmune patterns (Hashimoto's, Graves') that hit before TSH moves. A full panel catches all of these.
HealifyNow's full panel is built for the questions that matter at 38 and 48 and 58, not just the questions that matter at 78.
What we won't pretend the panel does
Your clinician will review every relevant detail with you. Here are the most important points to know up front.
Not a substitute for specialty care
If you have known heart disease, cancer, autoimmune disease, or another active condition, you need specialty management. The panel complements that work; it doesn't replace it.
Not insurance-billable
The panel is cash-pay. We're transparent about cost up front. Some markers may be covered if you ask your PCP to order them.
Genetic testing not included
This is bloodwork, not genetic testing. ApoE, MTHFR, and other genetic markers are separate orders.
Imaging not included
CAC scores, DEXA, MRI — these are separate. Your clinician will recommend imaging when results suggest it.
All medications must be prescribed by a licensed provider based on medical necessity. Treatment is not suitable for everyone. Results may vary.
How the process works
Step 1. Order online. You select either the standard full panel or the longevity-extended version (which adds biological age testing, advanced lipoproteins, and select peptides).
Step 2. We send the lab order. You walk into your nearest Quest or LabCorp draw center (there are over 5,000 in the U.S.) within a few weeks. No appointment needed at most locations.
Step 3. Fast overnight before the draw. The draw itself takes 5-10 minutes. Results post electronically in 3-5 business days.
Step 4. Clinician review. A 30-minute video visit with a HealifyNow clinician who walks through every result, explains what's normal, what's not, what to act on, and what to monitor. You leave with a written summary.
Step 5. Re-test schedule. Most members re-test annually; some markers (HbA1c, ApoB) annually or more often if you're actively intervening on them.

What members are saying
Real people, real results. Names and details published with permission.
"My standard physical was 'all normal' for years. The HealifyNow panel found Lp(a) of 95 — I'm now on appropriate prevention. Nobody had ever mentioned this marker. Knowledge that may add years."
"Run the panel annually for the last two years. The trend lines are what's actually useful. Fasting insulin dropped from 11 to 6 after I changed how I ate breakfast."
"Spent years feeling 'off.' Panel found low ferritin, subclinical hypothyroid, and low vitamin D. Three fixes, six months of consistency, life is different."
Frequently asked questions
HealifyNow makes it easy to move forward with confidence. Here are the answers to what people ask us most.
How does the HealifyNow panel compare to InsideTracker, Function, Marek, etc.?
+
The marker selection is broadly similar — comprehensive panels look alike. The HealifyNow difference is the clinician review: instead of an AI dashboard with green/yellow/red zones, you get a 30-minute conversation with a U.S.-licensed physician who can answer questions and order follow-up labs, prescribe medications, or refer to specialty care if needed.
Is the lab covered by insurance?
+
No — this is a cash-pay service. Some markers (basic CBC, lipid panel, TSH) may be covered if you ask your PCP to order them through insurance. We're transparent about costs so you can decide which path works for you.
How often should I run the full panel?
+
Annually for most members. People actively intervening on specific markers (lowering ApoB, treating insulin resistance, optimizing hormones) often run a subset of markers every 3-6 months in between full panels.
Where do I get the blood drawn?
+
Any Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp patient service center — there are 5,000+ in the U.S. You can usually walk in without an appointment.
Do I need to fast?
+
Yes, a 10-12 hour fast (water only) is required for fasting glucose, insulin, and lipids. Morning draws after an overnight fast are easiest.
What if my labs are abnormal?
+
Your clinician will explain what each abnormal result means, what could be driving it, and what to do next. That may include prescriptions, lifestyle protocols, repeat testing, or specialty referral. The review is included in the panel cost.
Can I add specific tests beyond the panel?
+
Yes. Add-ons include advanced inflammation markers, biological age testing (TruDiagnostic, DunedinPACE), micronutrient panels, specific hormone panels, and more. Your clinician can recommend additions based on your goals.
Can I share my results with my regular PCP?
+
Absolutely. You receive a PDF report you can share with any clinician. Many members coordinate findings with their PCP for ongoing care.
Stop guessing what's going on inside.
Order the panel and book your clinician review. Three days later, you'll know more about your health than most physicals reveal in years.
